Tarot Tuesday's Big Reveal for October 2, 2018

It's time for the Big Reveal! If you haven't done so already, please go to the Facebook Page, and select your card. I've purposely made this week's a little more difficult for those who are advancing.

Once you've selected your card, read on!

Card 1: The High Priestess

Mary-El Tarot

The High Priestess is a card of mystery, stillness and passivity. This card suggests that it is time to retreat and reflect upon the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you through it. Things around you are not what they appear to be right now.

When you are not sure how to act but you are calm, knowing that the answer is probably out there or that things will sort themselves out without your interference, you might notice that your relaxed posture on the seat of wisdom mimics that of The High Priestess Tarot card. This card assures you to trust your gut, to be passive and wait to respond to provocations instead of provoking responses. The world has many secrets in it to be unlocked and taking the less obvious path to any or all of these answers is the route favored by this card.

The High Priestess signifies that you are best advised to avoid conflict and to not necessarily believe what is being presented to you as "the truth." The High Priestess is a card of following your hunches. We are told by many elements of society to only go on what we know rather than how we feel. The High Priestess card runs counter to this. Is there a situation in your life where someone is insisting that things are one way when you feel strongly that they are not? Many women who are dating or living with alcoholic partners are asked to embrace the false reality that a constant state of being "buzzed" brings on. Do you have a hunch that your life or relationship could be better than it is at present?

Key words: Spiritual insight, Hidden talents, Intuition, Things yet to be revealed, Mystery

Card 2: The 9 of Pentacles

Mary-El Tarot

In general, the Nine of Pentacles is a great omen to get as it represents success, independence, confidence, freedom, security and stability. It is a card of abundance, prosperity, and wealth. These are gained through hard work, self-discipline, and self-reliance. Pamper yourself a little, and enjoy the contentment your accomplishments bring you.

The Nine of Pentacles also tells you that you have gained maturity and wisdom through your perseverance.  If representing a person, it usually represents a strong, confident, independent woman who is beautiful and sophisticated and has worked hard to get where she is.

The 9 of Pentacles points to happiness and success. This is on both the mundane and the inner realms. You will have a great deal to be proud of and hopeful about. Expect the best to happen. You'll be in the position to help those less fortunate than yourself. Pay attention not only to your material abundance but also to your spirituality.

Key words: Independence, success, financial stability/security, profit, prosperity, wealth, property, abundance,  rewards through hard work

Card 3: The Queen of Pentacles

Mary-El Tarot

The Queen of Pentacles represents high social status, prosperity, wealth, luxury, success and financial independence. This card tells you to approach issues in a sensible, practical, no-nonsense manner and you will be successful. She tells you to set goals, and work towards them.

As a person, the Queen of Pentacles represents a mature female, who is generous and financially independent. She has an affinity for the finer things in life, and is good in business. She is a social butterfly with high social status and is pleasant, charming, loyal, socially poised, organised, down to earth and practical. She is a wonderful, nurturing mother, and a good hostess. People feel welcome in her home, secure in her company, and able to confide in her. She may be an Earth sign, such as Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn.

The Queen of Pentacles signals that you are either enjoying a time now of being taken care of or are happily taking care of someone. The card's presence again demands that you assess your situation to receive the message – is this Queen someone who is currently making your life a little easier and providing for you or are you the person making sure that someone special is being nurtured.

Key words: Mature grounded female, businesswoman, high social status/social butterfly, generous, loyal, prosperity, success, financially independent, Witch, healer, nurturing.

Card 4: The Three of Cups

Mary-El Tarot

The 3 of Cups is often considered to be a card of "reunions." But this is not always a romantic reunion, alas… it's reunion in the broadest sense, running back into (or meeting with, purposefully) someone or something that you have been away from for some time. It's generally considered to be a happy reunion, an upbeat card.

If the Three of Cups appears in the present position in your Tarot reading, you are running with a good crowd, and any stress in your life is likely to dissipate when you spend time with your close friends. A new club, church or other social organization could be dominating your life and making you feel like you finally have a place to belong.

The 3 of Cups  can signify someone from your past coming back in to your life. It can also signify parties, festivals, weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, and other similar celebrations. When this card appears in your Tarot reading, you can look forward to a happy event in your life. It signifies group of people coming together, with open hearts and minds, to celebrate important events. It is a very positive card that indicates happy times, uplifting energy, and good feelings.

Key words: Reunions, celebrations, parties, socializing, gatherings, indulgence, festivals, festivities, gatherings, happiness, wedding, engagement party, graduation, baby shower, happy times
