Brew an Chéad Lá- The Wild Week Ahead: February 17, 2019

Brew an Chéad Lá- First Day Brew. Time to gear up for the week ahead!

Today is the last day of the sun in Aquarius for 2019. Tomorrow, at 6:04p EST, the sun will move into Pisces. Learn more about the Pisces season, and how it might affect you, here.

This Week's Totem: Owl

Barn Owl

The Owl has long been a symbol of wisdom, insight, intuition and rebirth. Owl, in Greek Mythology, sat on the shoulder of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, battle and the arts. Owl helps you see through deceptions, make wise choices, and start your life anew. In my Phi Theta Kappa induction, Athena is the goddess that is honored for her intellectual assistance. It isn't just intellectual, though. Intuition is high with those who carry the owl totem. They just seem to know where to be and when to be there. They have a sense of being "an old soul".

Owl in Native Nations of the Americas is usually seen as a harbinger of death.. but, not necessarily in the physical sense. It's about clearing away old habits, destructive cycles and patterns to clear the way for you to start on a new adventure.

Call upon Owl to help you see what needs clearing in your life. Take stock, clean house (whether that's physical or spiritual) and when you are through,  you can make plans for the next beginning of your life-song.

For those of you who like to plan ahead, we have the First Quarter moon on Tuesday. After that, the moon is in her waxing gibbous phase for the rest of this week. She will move through the signs of Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, and Leo this week. The Daily Magic Guides are posted every morning at 5am EST on the Wildly, Witch Facebook Page. However, many of you do like to see what's going on ahead of time. These are for you:
