Tarot Tuesday's Big Reveal for February 5, 2019

It's time for our Big Reveal! If you haven't done so, please go to the Wildy, Witch Facebook Page and select your card. For those who have, let's get to it.

This week, we feature the China Tarot Deck, by Der Jin.

Description (from Amazon):

"An Eastern anthem to the beauty of the soul, this stunning collection of delicate images speaks of the magic and poetry of China. Infinite shades of emotion―joy, melancholy, love, ambition, etc.―help us identify with every well-crafted figure and scene."

Card 1: Queen of Wands

The Queen of Wands reminds you that you are upbeat, courageous, and determined. You are here to see through your creative visions and life purpose, even in the face of adversity and challenge. Highly self-actualized and self-aware, you know how to best channel your strengths and weaknesses to achieve your goals. You are optimistic and full of ideas to share with others. You know what you want and how to get it, and are masterful at engaging with others to achieve your goals. Stay fiercely determined and focused on your goals while being friendly and optimistic with those around you.

The Queen of Wands encourages you to get to know your shadow self, the lesser-known and sometimes darker side of who you really are. This doesn’t necessarily need to be a negative aspect of yourself, but could be something that most people don’t know about you… yet! It may be your dark sense of humor, a secret life from your past, or a passion project you’ve kept hidden away. While you may want to protect this part of yourself, the Queen of Wands encourages you to express this side more openly with others – don’t be afraid to show your shadow now and then. It will enable you to connect with others on a deeper level.

Key words: Energetic, vivacious, strong, courageous, passionate, funny, independent, confident, optimistic, outgoing, assertive, sexy, chaotic, hot tempered, forgetful, efficient, accomplishing many tasks, efficiency, motherhood, fertility, a lot of balls in the air, helping others, organizing your life, taking charge.

Card 2: The Eight of Pentacles

The Eight of Pentacles Tarot card indicates a time of hard work, commitment, diligence and dedication. The effort you put in will not be in vain as your hard work will pay off and lead to results, rewards or the accomplishment of your goals.

When this Minor Arcana card appears in your Tarot reading, it indicates that you are methodically working towards something you want. It may seem boring, mundane or even relentless at the moment but you are on the brink of achieving great success, so don’t give up. The skills you are learning at the moment will stand to you later in life and you will come away from this experience not only with the inner wisdom you've gained but with a sense of pride and self-confidence from achieving your ambitions.

When the Eight of Pentacles lands in the present position, you are working hard toward a goal. The pursuit of something perfect is paying off, but there is still much work to be done. This is a card that indicates dreams are deferred while you work to make them as great as they can be.

Key words: New job, self-employment, building business, trade, reputation, craftsmanship, quality, master, expertise, hard work, commitment, dedication, concentration, success, accomplishment, ambition, confidence, financial security, results, rewards, achieving goals, attention to detail, productivity, scholarship, qualifications
