The Big Reveal for Tuesday, October 29, 2019

It's time for our Big Reveal! If you haven't done so, please go to the Wildly, Witch Facebook Page, and choose your card. For those who have, let's do this!

This week's decks are The Mary-El Tarot and Tarot De St. Croix Please note: I have no affiliation with the creators or producers of any of these tarot decks. I make no money from promoting them.

Card 1: Temperance

Do you see both sides of an argument? Can you lead adversarial parties toward a middle ground? Have you recently discovered the value in sharing control? Is your recovery something that has brought you to a happy medium in life? Are the days of excess behind you?

The Temperance card is the Tarot’s way of indicating that peace will not be arriving, because you already have it within you. When you are in that even place away from the harsh side of things, you will find that peace, and in unleashing it, exert the greatest amount of control over your world with the least amount of effort you could ever imagine.

Temperance insists that should you stay on this grounded path, you will actually be happier, will not miss the past at all, and may find a greater degree of acceptance for who you are and what you believe. The stubborn side of your character will be replaced with tolerance when Temperance appears in the present position.

This is most excellent news. We are already seeing the shadow Mercury Rx effects, and we know it's going to be a doozy of a retrograde (Oct 31-Nov 20). You staying grounded and balanced is that key to your Mercury Rx survival. You may also find that you'll be able to help others do the same. We're all in this together, and those who are gifted with the Temperance energy are most needed right now.

Card 2: The Four of Wands

Normally, the four of wands means a time of celebration, happy surprises, etc. In this particular deck, it is about finding power in the sacred. Notice the woman on horseback (horse represents power), and she's coming to a crossroads (known as a place of power for witches- Hecate rules the crossroads). In the distance, you can see a circle of dolmens (another place of power in Ireland) as the destination. This is a time for you to take on the power of your ancestral heritage. Being that Samhain is just two days away, it makes sense that this card would visit you. You may have been (still are, just a little?) afraid to take on this power. We're much more likely to be concerned about being too powerful than too weak.
As a starter, here's a poem from Marianne Williamson that has been inspirational to me. I hope it will help you, too. Just substitute the Universe, Gods, Goddesses, or self for God:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

How did you do? Are you finding these helpful? What else can I do to support you?
